It should also be noted that this site has already been used by the Baronies
of Sacred Stone, Windmasters' Hill and Black Diamond, with cooks from
Charlotte NC, Blacksburg VA, Durham NC - and that's just off the top of my
head.

There is a big difference between autocratting and cooking an event at a new
site far away and at a oft-used site with many resources to assist you from
previous events.

Kiri's concerns over autocratting from a distance are valid, but that does
not mean that those with such limitations are the only resources for running
the event. Please note that no where in the proposal did I see that Dun
Carriag HAD to host a Crown at this site, but that if Dun Carriag wanted to
host a Crown Tournament and didn't have a sufficient site available, they
could use this well established site.

Please note that my interprettation of the proposal is that it is to reserve
the site for use by those who choose for the two Crown Tourneys a year. It
is not intended to force groups to support something that is financially and
logistically unfeasible.
