exactly.  many of the positions are run by kingdom officers and there is
usually fewer things going on at a crown tourney other than the tourney
itself.  the focus on the day is the selection of the heirs and not as much
time for other activities.  thats not to suggest that other activities cant
happen or shouldnt happen, just that time is an issue.

Your Majesty,
Never having been involved in hosting a Crown Tourney, I'm curious about one
of your points.  Why would crown have less staff requirements than other
events?  It seems like you'd be filling many of the same positions (cooks,
marshals, gatekeepers, etc), is this due to kingdom picking up some of the
workload?
