we wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who attended our coronation
this weekend.  her majesty and i are very excited about the next few months
and the opportunity we have to serve the people of atlantia and the sca.
although the weather friday night was a bit bleak it was chased off in the
wee hours of saturday morning and provided a beautiful day.  we would also
like to thank our staff.  while they were very inexperienced at running such
a large event they came through and shined.  we dont think anyone noticed
their collective "newness" one bit and we are very proud with the end
result.  our hope was that this event would give everyone an opportunity to
enjoy everything that the day had to offer and that folks had a chance to
see all of the activities available.  

 

the amount of support we received was overwhelming!  that support is such a
driving force during a reign and we thank everyone that stopped by to talk
with us and look forward to trying to earn that support.  again, thank you
all for that.  we also wish to extend our appreciation for all the gifts we
received and we are humbled by such generosity.  

 

finally, i would personally like to apologize for having to leave feast
early.  in the three days prior to that i had only gotten about 9 hours of
sleep.  between working on so many things in preparation to this event and
worrying that her majesties first coronation day i simply didnt get enough
rest.  during the first part of feast i was having a difficult time staying
awake and her majesty out her foot down and sent me to bed.  i feel really
bad about that but, in the end, she was right again.  drat!
