I would be happy to join His Highness on the front porch yelling at those pesky kids reminiscent of the movie "Second Hand Lions" with shotgun in hand if need be, okay maybe a crossbow to be more 'period'.

I am naive in many ways having missed out on the 'Laugh In' form of lifestyle. Hehe, how many remember that one? My idea of flirting is obviously very innocent in comparison to some folks as I openly give a flirtatious compliment to most any woman. This done in my mind as a way of being friendly rather than an invitation to make out that night and done with as much respect as I can give to that woman. The forms of flirting have been mired in an every growing Grey Area from, as mentioned Aids/STD's, to feminist progression and legal problems of sexual harassment.

Having never seen the 'Cloven Fruit' form of flirting it may seem innocent enough and in the original days it probably was a polite way to let someone know you have a desire to get to know them better. But as pointed out the practice was perverted into some crude form so I too am glad that it is gone.

There may be an Art to flirting but I don't think that the Cloven Fruit practice is an Art Form to be brought back, nor if it were done at some event/meeting would I recognize the signicance and would be very embarrassed at being put in such a situation without prior knowledge.
