	The idea that anyone HAS to participate is one point where this
tradition jumped the track. The gift should be freely offered and may
just as freely be refused...with no explanation needed. Forced
participation crosses over into the "creepy" part, for me.

 Think about how many peoples dirty hands and mouths have been all
over that sucker before it gets to you? Uck Uck UCK! *shivers*
 I used to hate going to the parties where they made it known if you
were there you were free game and had to participate. 
 Sooooo glad we dont see it too often anymore.
