you'll be assured a space for the Journey!
 
We have flush toilets, showers, viewing stands and the camping are is  nicely 
grassed and level.  And if you're interested in teaching a class,  there will 
be lots of room to set up for that as well!!!  Please contact me  if you have

Incipient Canton of Brockore Abbey – Hartsville,  SC

Join us on our journey to celebrate time periods of the Known World! We  will 
compete on the field, on horseback, and the gentler pursuits of the arts  and 
sciences. And for those who love a challenge, join the Quest and find out  
who was who in our time! Prizes will be awarded for each martial discipline and  
for A&S competitions!!! 
 
Martial Activities:
Heavy will be a double elimination tourney with a  bear pit to follow for 
those eliminated.
 
Rapier will be a progression tourney.

Best Tapestry  or work of art
Scroll Competition
Open: any time frame of the Known  World
Bardic: prepare your best song or poem, any time frame, and be ready to  
perform during feast!!!

Site opens at 5 PM Friday, May 29, 2009 and closes noon Sunday, May 31,  
2009. 
 
Restrictions: The site is DRY. NO pets. Fires ONLY in aboveground fire  pits. 
 Tent camping only, no cabins on site.
