Greetings to the list!

There has been interest in putting together a track of classes for the
upcoming session of University June 6th in the Canton of Crois Brigte
(Winston-Salem NC). If you are willing to teach please send the
following information to me (sdcbennett at alumni.indiana.edu) and I will
begin putting the track together. Please have the class proposals to me
before April 19th.

Not sure what to teach. Here are some ideas:

Scribal 101 type classes for new scribes (layout, basic technique,
proper lying of paints, etc)

Advanced techniques (gilding, specific styles, diapering, white work,
etc)

Calligraphy hands

Scribal bookshelf (what are the essential books to have?)

Once you get an idea in your head please send me the following
information so I can get it to the Chancellor:

 - Instructor name (SCA and modern)
 - Class title
 - Fees (if any)
 - max number of students (if any)
 - duration of class
 - synopsis of class
 - any special equipment or requirements for the class. This includes
equipment the instructor would need from the site. E.g.: overhead
projector, slide projector, etc.

So let's get on it and share the wealth of information that is out
there!

Yours,

Baroness Rhonwen verch Tuder
