dont forget about the childrens feast. its free but you have to let the
reservationist know who is coming.

now, on to the announcement.

her highness and i were worried about our coronation falling on easter
weekend. it was the only date that would work, so it is what it is. to
that end.....

the houses of clan ebonwoulfe will be hosting an easter egg hunt for the
children at our coronation. we will be providing eggs filled with treats
(both candies and toys). the hunt will start immediately following the
youth melee presentation and will be divided into two groups. 5 and under
and those older. parents, you can place your children in whichever group
you think is best. for example, if billy is 10 and his sister susie is 5
but you want them to work together then put them together. there is little
difference in the treats provided except that the hiding of the eggs will
differ in difficulty. you need to provide nothing for your kids except a
basket or bag or whatever for them to put their loot in. her highness and i
will have a secret stash of eggs to fill up any baskets we see that are a
little under filled.

the schedule is basically

final court starts at 10am

coronation ceremony begins after that

followed by toc styled tourneys on the main field for both rapier and heavy
(with youth combat and archery at the nearby field.

the field will break around 130 for a very cool archery demonstration
(roughly 30 minutes in the center of the field)

this will be followed by a youth combat melee demonstration also in the
center of the field (again, roughly 30 minutes)

her highness and i will lead the two groups of children to the very nearby
egg hunting area (along with plenty of people to help out so no worries)

as soon as we go to find eggs (i have my own basket thank you!) the main
field will open up for rapier and heavy melees.

and dont forget to visit with the artisans near the main hall (right across
the road) to see their wonderful displays and ask them tons of questions.

we hope that we are providing activities for all of you that you will find
enjoyable on this special day. if anyone is in need of anything please do
not hesitate to ask of us.

regards

logan and esa
