Friend of mine married a lovely Philippino woman who is an astoundingly talented cook. Phillipino food is righteous. 
 
However...(and those of you familiar with Philippino delicacies are probably screaming and fleeing already.) 
 
My friend will eat anything. He'll eat stuff SHE won't eat even. Except...balut. 
 
Do a google search if you don't know what that is, but it's horrifying. You've been warned. 
 
She says' it's an aquired taste. Indeed.
