[MR] OT trivia

I had to Google to get it all. I remembered they were surveyors.  My quick
Google said they were sent from England to settle a border dispute between
the Colonies of Maryland and Pennsylvania in 1763.  I lived there when I 11
for about 6 months, never care much about history than.
