[MR] [Hidden Mountain] Tourney of Diamonds Cancellation Notice

Technically, the difference between a swamp and a marsh is timber. A swamp is
a wooded (forested) area that is subject to water (inundation; standing water)
for at least part of the year, and is wet at all times. A marsh has no timber,
but is grasses, sedges, and similar plants.

While I live south of the Mason Dixon line (like everyone else in Atlantia),
Maryland and Virginia have both marshes and swamps, but I don't know about any
particular barony, especially those in the "southern Principality."
