Wow.  I'm sitting here in the driving rain from Hanna, thinking "I'm glad I'm not in a tent right now!"  But there is one down side to the event cancellation.  My sister and brother-in-law are new Atlantians and this was going to be their first event as Atlantian.  Thorgrim, my brother-in-law, is a wondrous mead-maker--having been a Royal mead-maker in Meridies for a fair bit of time.  If you've been to Gulf Wars, you've probably had some and liked it well.  His blueberry is to die for, and the Desert Rose is a crowning achievement.  They are sitting at my house (in the rain) thinking  "What are we going to do with 15 gallons of mead?"  that they had planned to use for a 'royal revel' at Coronation.  Guess we'll have to find a local party!  Your Highness, Squire Edward knows our number!  Hmmmm, I wonder if we'll even notice if the lights go out!  There is absolutely no way we are gong to be able to drink all that mead.....................
