His site now says,
" Michael Fuller and Neathery Fuller are professional archaeologists/college professors with 30 years experience in Medieval Archaeology in the Middle East and Europe.
Continued complaints about inaccuracies in the museum captions for the artifacts have led me to remove these pages. I bow to the expertise of the OL though they do not want their name used.... "

Since he says continued complaints, apparently you were not the only one pointing out his inaccuracies, perhaps just the last one and so became the point of his attack.  Or perhaps, since his site pulled from other museums as you say, he got called on copy write  infringements.
