I've taken all of Dr. Fuller's classes as Pennsic for the past three or so years, and am baffled by this behavior. Dr Fuller and his wife are professors in St. Louis and lead both a spring break field trip and a summer archaeological dig that are open to SCAdians. He has years of experience in the field, having led excavations in the Middle East and Eastern Europe every year for quite some time.
His classes are excellent. The handouts contain lots of photos from his digs and his trips. He encourages people to recreate items and bring them to show him. He is not pompous.
He and his wife are active in the SCA - as heavy fighters and archers in addition to their academic and A&S pursuits. I have never observed any untoward behavior on his part. He is also, from what I can tell, careful regarding copyright issues. This year he provided information on research materials that are not in the public domain - how to obtain them through Interlibrary Loan, not copies of pictures. Like I said, I'm baffled. Sometimes people have life issues and something that is totally innocent triggers an unexpected response.

Or perhaps, since his site pulled from other museums as you say, he got called on copy write infringements.> > fergus> > > > > ========================================================================> The Merry Rose Tavern at Cheapside> List Info: http://merryrose.atlantia.sca.org/> Submissions: Atlantia at atlantia.sca.org> Subscriptions: http://seahorse.atlantia.sca.org/mailman/listinfo/atlantia
