It's the H word again and the season appears to be a rough one this year.

I hadn't posted about this but my last message generated several questions so I'll mention this once and leave you alone.

There is a very unofficial list of Atlantian people who offer crash space to hurricane evacuees.  This is usually an offer from inland SCA people to coastland SCA people who are about to be evacuated because of storms.  I have been maintaining it for several years because in the past tons of messages would show up saying "I have crash space" and it would be sort of a random thing.  Now it's sort of a loosely organized unofficial thing.

If you're interested in being crash space for SCA hurricane evacuees please write me privately and I can add you to the list.  Basically it's a confidential list that includes contact information, space available and any pets/allergy issues that might arise.

My current intention for this weekend is to be at Coronation, cell phone handy in VIBRATE mode (no sound), checking on things.  I have a couple friends who won't be going to Coronation that I'll be able to keep in touch with if the need arises.
