  Everything but the oink is how my parents also described it. Yum. Yum.

Hominy and Scrapple was an after church treat in my house. My family is 
all from Baltimore, hon. :-)

Note that it isn't a Southern food, per se. I grew up eating liver 
pudding, which is similar but much better (assuming an affinity for 
liver). Liver pudding is hard to find in Northern Virginia, though. More 
southern "delicacies" are creeping in, however - we now have Duke's mayo 
and Cheerwine.
