I would like to say thank you on behalf of Lady Shae, whom I feel confident will echo those sentiments once she sees your missive...
 
One thing I would like to point out, before things get too far, is that the event was being held by the Canton of Ilse des Diamant, as their first official event after being granted full Status this past May by Their Majesties Kari and Sinclair.
 
Any checks that are gathered, if at all possible, should be made to SCA Inc, Canton of Ilse des Diamant, I do believe.....  If someone who is closer to the group could confirm this for me, I would be greatly appreciative...

a few questions have already come in so let me address those now.

there is no fee except for food for those interested (i will cook something)

my grill will be available for anyone that wants to bring their own food (i
will cook it for you if you wish). my grill is big (ive cooked 110 steaks
at one time on the first model. this model is the same size except i put a
flat griddle on 1/3 of it. so there is room for 60 - 70 ny strips plus the
griddle space). or we can do a massive pot of chili or whatever. that will
be worked out with those that respond.

if i can find something cool as a prize we will be doing the helm auction
thingy (checks payable to hidden mountain to help them recoup any losses
their cancellation might have incurred). the format is unknown at the
moment but we will come up with something. if anyone wishes to donated a
prize or prizes we will figure out something to do with them (perhaps
multiple fund raiser things). 

i just got home from a 12 hour day but i promise i will respond to everyone
that has written to me thus far and as many as i can tonight.

since the site for this weekends tourney of diamonds is unusable esa and i
are offering up our property for a weekend get together. we have space for
plenty of pavilions/tents.

here are the particulars as we have them at the moment:

people can come in anytime friday and are welcomed to camp

we will have fighting and rapier (the fighting will be whatever we come up
with or we will spend the day training and doing pickups)

a fire pit

the grill will be fired up once we have an idea of how many people to expect
(specific info will be sent to those that respond)

site is wet

pet friendly (leashed or caged)

secure fenced in area

the shop will also be available for projects (can do welding, leather, wood,
metal fab)

water will be available, bathrooms also

ummmm not sure what else im missing

we are located in columbia about 2 miles from exit 12 (fort jackson). the
address will be sent to those that reply so you can google map the location.
cell number will also be included.

ok, so here is what we need to know (please respond to my account directly)

how many people are coming with you?

what time are you arriving

when are you leaving

are you tenting or bringing a dayshade (what size)

and if you have any questions or requests
