However much we’d like to claim the glowing praise and compliments on how well TnT went this weekend, the autocrat and deputy autocrat want to thank everyone who came and being so cheerfully adaptable, and being so entertaining. We also think it’s time to bestow due honor on the many that rendered valiant service. We couldn’t have done it without you!
Thanks to Lady Wynne and her Cooks Guild support crew. Lunch was delicious, but the feast was a gastronomic delight! Special appreciation is due to Mistress Cordelia and Lord Bruce the Robert and the others who spent hours scrubbing the kitchen equipment –helping us leave the site in far better shape than we received it!
Thanks to Countess Rowan and Baron Ivan, who traveled from Stierbach to northernmost Bright Hills, just to work in the kitchen and serve the feast! Hey, now that the autocrat’s brain is working a little better, I realize we have a prize for you, as those who traveled farthest (mundanely) to come to the event.
Thanks to Mistress Barbara, who with the able assistance of Mistress Sita, handled troll until late Friday night, and all day Saturday, greeting everyone with a cheerful smile. You ladies are troopers!
Thanks to Mistress Chryse, for running the Childrens’ Feast, and to Lady Tsura, who graciously agreed to assist her in entertaining the jinns and gremlins, and allowing the long tradition to continue.
Thanks to Baron Simon, for being the Master of the Hall (and creating the feast table signup sheet to replace the one the autocrats misplaced), and to his nimble crew of servers – Baron Ivan, Yoshii Takahashi, Balthazar Martin, and Nachama.
Thanks to Lady Livia, who, with the support of Lord Cairell (Carl), was the merchant provost, created the Constantinople game, and last, but not least, organized and ran the Sekunjabin Tavern. Thanks should also go to Master Herveus and Lady Reyne, who contributed to the 21 (!) flavors of sekunjabin offered.
Thanks to our decorating committee, Lady Tsura, Lady Catriona, and Lady Faye, as well as the many gentles, small and tall, who assisted them. The feast hall and high table were lavishly draped as befitted an imperial court.
Thanks to Sir Aefred, who marshaled the heavy list, so our marshals could fight, and also treated us to song!
Thanks to Lord Gustav, for providing a tasty Traveler’s Fare on Friday night, and delivering the firewood that kept us warm all weekend.
Thanks to Lady Brienna, for all the delicious bread made fresh on site.
Thanks to Baron Heinrich, for handling security and parking and providing timely suggestions and reminders to the autocrat.
Thanks to Lady Deborah, for loan of her trailer, and delivering and picking it up.
Thanks to Lord Denis and Mistress Margherita la Tessatrice, for running the Arts and Sciences contests and display.
Thanks to Lady Sorcha, Lady Sindara, Lady Ingeborg, and Chaim, for teaching classes.
Thanks to Lord Stephen Bridewell, for cheerfully juggling marshal in charge duties and rapier marshal responsibilities.
Thanks to our MOLs, Lord Alexander and Mistress Chagan Khulan, for their cheerful adaptability to the list site and conditions – glad you liked the fireplace!
And thanks to the many who quietly stepped in and handled things that we didn’t even know about. You all makes us glad to be part of Bright Hills and the SCA.
Lady Yseulte Trevelyn, Lady Szilagy Margit
