Greetings to those who do receive this missive from Gisela event steward of War of the Wings

The Performing Arts War Point Competition time? has been changed from Saturday night (after court and after the Viking Ship Memorial) to Saturday afternoon at 3:30 at the Castle. It was just going to be too late and too unpredictable to really highlight the performing arts of our region. This change will allow more people to participate and to watch and enjoy the work.

To be clear, the Performing Arts War Point Competition will happen Saturday afternoon at 3:30 at the Castle.

I've pasted the coordinator's note explaining the competition below for your convenience.

Please note there will also be a populace bardic circle and hospitality table Saturday evening after court and after the Viking Ship Memorial ceremony. All are invited to join us by the fires and enjoy the delectable delights provided by Sacred Stone and her friends and listen to the talents among us. Come laugh and cry, sing, drum and dance. Tell me a story and give me a memory to cherish to my grave.

Come one, come all to the Team Bardic Competition at War of the Wings! 



Teams should be composed of three members who will perform in three themed rounds, either together or separately.? The rounds ( in no particular order) will consist of 1) war, 2) peace, and 3) documented performance. The documented performance must include written documentation and can be either period or original with period elements. Please provide three copies of your documentation. 


The winning team will win a war point for the side of their choice, so go, fight, win!
