A quick note from the autocrat of TnT:

I am happy to announce yet another new offering at Treaties and Turks, the Bright Hills event coming in two weeks (Oct. 24-26). The baronial Clothier's Guild will be taking portraits with a suitable backdrop. There will be no charge for electronically transmitted portraits, though donations will be accepted. For a small fee, they will print and mail a large-format hard copy to you.

We are also offering classes in wool felting, beading, necklace knot tying (for spacing pearls or beads on necklaces), and documenting A&S entries. There is a $6.50 charge for the beading class to cover the handout and materials. The beading teacher could use another one or two pairs of needlenose or jewelry pliers. Students in the knot tying class should bring "pointy tweezers."
