 As others have pointed out, the Society is working on ways to make something like Paypal work . . . or find other ways to address the use of more 'modern' payment methods. That's content for a different thread.

My original point is this . . . when you bounce a check, and I don't care what the reason was you bounced it. That doesn't matter. But when you do, YOU should take the initiative and accept responsibility to make it right. The bounced check causes extra work for event staff and the group exchequer. It clicks in a whole different set of paperwork issues, slowing down the gate process, causing event reports to be held up or re-written and they already have enough on their plates.

Please, in a Society that values honor and courtesy, be the exemplar of those virtues and send an e-mail or make a phone call to the event reservationist or group exchequer as soon as your bank contacts you.
