This mailing list, which we call the Merry Rose Tavern at Cheapside, is intended for Atlantians and others to send and receive messages of interest to others in the Kingdom and her environs.? 

One who sends a message that is of use and interest and is essentially "on topic." that is, on a Mediaeval, Renaissance, or Scadian subject; has no need to "apologize for the bandwidth" and most certainly is *not* spamming the list.

Rather, you're using it in the way it was intended, right and proper.? Make use of it, enjoy it, exploit it (withing the stated limits), and I entreat you, *don't apologize for doing so!*

Indeed, if you want to post something for which you really feel a need to apologize, you probably ought to post it on a different list. My home Barony has an "unplugged" list specifically for off-topic subjects.
