[MR] War of the Roses Thank Yous

Good Gentles of the Tavern, pause from your cups and hear my words. My
Barony ROCKS!! We held our War of the Roses event on Saturday, and despite
real life claiming our event steward and chief lady in waiting the week
before, the rain that threatened to wash away our Rapier fighters and a
site that seemed too small for anything...Our people pulled together to
create a warm, intimate, funny and memorable event. Small site? Baron
Jonathas opened his home for an archery practice (and provided a venue
which allowed us to select our new archery champion). Useless balcony? Not
when it's filled with amazing musicians who played all day long. Tiny
kitchen? Not when it's manned by some of the most talented cooks around!
Poor outnumbered Baroness? Not when you've got the great
Martelle on your side (with cool favors and cookies to 'sway'
allegiances). Dark and gloomy day? Not when you're the Baroness of Dun
Carraig and surrounded by such an amazing populace! Thanks for giving me a
moment to brag on them and thank you to everyone who braved the
various challenges to be there with us!
