Harbor Freight also has solar panels/solar chargers- though Northern looks to have better prices/selection/equipment on the larger ones.

We're designing a solar panel-battery bank-inverter system for our box trailer, so that we can run lights or small power tools directly, or recharge the cordless tools without worrying about whether the truck will start after...

Subject: [MR] Power for Pennsic
Good people:
For those who have gone to some lengths to maintain battery power for
various devices during an extended stay at places like Pennsic, where
plug-in power is scarce at best, here's one possible solution.
Northern Hardware is having a sale on solar panels. There are four
models featured, ranging from $19.99 up to $349.99. They're billed
as "battery maintainers", which means that they have 12v DC output,
and the capacities range from 1.8 watts through 60 watts.
The little, cheap version should handle your cellphone and digital
camera with no problems.
In Richmond, they're at 8400 Midlothian Turnpike. Elsewhere, see
