[MR] Gift certificate: Books Arts Competition

Greetings, all,

 

Just in case anyone needs extra incentive to enter the Books Arts
Competition at 12th Night, John Neal of John Neal Booksellers is donating a
$20 gift certificate to the prize basket! There are lots and lots of cool
things you could buy with a $20 gift certificate . . . plus other cool tools
and supplies will be in the prize basket as well.

Book Arts Competition and Display at Atlantia's 12th Night

 

(January 10, 2009, in Stafford, VA)

 

 

 

Medieval books were the result of labor from many artisans, including
parchmenters, paper makers, scribes, illuminators, goldbeaters, bookbinders,
tanners, metal workers, and embroiderers. Entries may be anything that is
connected to the book arts. Documentation is required. First prize will be a
nice assortment of tools that a book artisan might need. (Display-only items
are also welcome! If you have large display items, please contact me ahead
of time so I can ensure that we have enough table space.) Email any
