I sat down and took a look through the bookcases to see what I'd missed.  I've left out most of romance novels! <G> Some are pretty good and some are just dreadful!  I have a real dislike of the 'only daughter, allowed to train with the castle troops, then must become a Perfect Gentlewoman when her father decides she must marry' formula.  Bleh!

Laurien Gardiner:  The Spanish Bride, A Lady Raised High and Plain Jane.  I hope she does novels about the other three wives!

Reay Tannahill: Fatal Majesty.  Mary, Queen of Scots.  Sort of 'poor pitiful Mary, victim of the Evil Elizabeth'

Robert Elegant:  Bianca: A Novel of Venice.  Though very little of it is actually IN Venice or about Bianca!
