Actually, Stephen of Silvering or, as he is known today, Steffan ap Cenydd
of Silverwing, is from the East Kingdom.  When I first knew him he was in
Carolingia but he moved some years ago to the Barony of the Bridge where his
lady has been baroness for many years.

Steffan was my predecessor as Brigantia Herald back in the days when rocks
were soft (I took over from him in July, 1983) and we have been good friends
for many years.  (The last Society-related event I went to in the East was
his mundane wedding to Elspeth who has been a friend for nearly as long.)

And I can say with some certainty that those laws are an aggregate of wisdom
from a number of sources, many of whom were (and happily in most cases still
are) drinking buddies of mine.
