         This has been one of the more delightful, and funniest, threads that
I've seen on this list!
         Is it possible that someone who is more learned than I in such arcane
matters could assemble the many responses, and that they could then be
posted as a webpage for the edification and amusement of the 
populance at large?
         I'd be happy to volunteer for the tak of going through the 
messages on
the Merry Rose website, and assembling/concatenating all of the messages on
this topic (and the preceeding heading) into one clean textfile, but 
as yet I am
incompetent to make the file into a webpage.
