[MR] The most blatantly obvious mundane-stare ever

Why, thank you most kindly for the sweet and generous compliments my lady, but I'm pretty sure it was the garb.  My slovenly, feet-propped-up posure and the way I was slumped in my seat surely obscured him from getting a real good look at anything but the boots and layers of colorful skirts hanging out of the open door. And he was a gentleman of probably around 60 with a wife in the car with him. I dont' think it was that kind of stare. :-DDDD
 
I guess I was just taken aback a bit. In my experience, in the decade or so, people seem to take seeing us out and about in garb a bit more in stride than they used to back when I started. Sure, they are curious, but it used to be you'd go out in garb and nearly cause a public disturbance. Now, they just shrug and figure you're in a play or are a Rennie or something.
