[MR] Royal Contact Protocol Question

Personally I have found that no Royal (even the most initially intimidating
ones) mind having the populous contact them for a matter important enough to
them to feel it warrants a letter to the crown.   Most of the populous are
well aware of how much work any official position in the SCA is and although
the crown meant and indeed to many of us is to be seen as the pinnacle of
Offices, I think it is very important to remember that Our glorious Kings
and Queen are still players of our game.

On another note, while I was retaining for their Excellencies of Sacred
Stone, I learned that they personally HATE to be kept out of the loop.

And the bottom line is, as His Grace pointed out, if the missive should have
been sent to their head retainer or any other subject, they can quite easily
forward it.

If you aren’t sure, or you want to save them the trouble of forwarding the
missive, cc their head retainer.

With that in mind, I will speak to my personal preferences, my perceived
perceptions of Ragnarr's preferences, and my & our experiences. So below are
guidelines. I personally would not be offended if some contacted me directly
about anything listed in the contact head retainer list.
