[MR] Fwd: Are you in a play?

I don't go deliberately out of my way to "freak the mundanes", myself. I
derive amusement from those who stare, goggle-eyed, at me as if I WERE a
freak. If someone asks why I'm dressed that way, I treat them as a potential
recruit / visitor / patron (at some of the non / SCA things I do). In short,
I consider myself an ambassador for whatever odd bunch I'm dressed up to
play with that weekend. In particular, there's a couple of places (the
Virginia Renaissance Faire and Henricus Park come to mind) that can use all
the publicity they get. SCA recruiting is also an ongoing thing. Some of us
ain't getting any younger, and new generations are A Good Thing(tm).
