I have in fact run tourneys, as both MoL and MIC. I have helped prepare 
materials and teach MoL classes, as well as Marshal's classes. The only 
"more work" we have asked for is that the results of the already 
prepared reports be made available to the populace as well as the files. 
I have publicly volunteered to either do that work or help.

MoLs, as well as the other officers and non-officer workers who help 
create our events, practices, and Society deserve our thanks and 
cooperation. I would suggest that officers do not "give up their events" 
so much as they choose to spend some of those events in specific 
activities which are a different part of playing the game. That was 
certainly how I approached it, though there are certain to be other 
approaches as well.

Please note that for the blow-by-blow proposal I specifically suggested 
that the forms be created, and a notation devised, for the use of those 
volunteers who were themselves interested in that level of detail. I 
intentionally did not suggest that as an MoL duty, or indeed as any 
person's duty.

One last time let me reiterate the original request: please make the 
full results of Crown Tourneys easily available to the populace. Lady 
Elizabeth did not ask for more reports, or more details than are 
currently prepared for the existing report. I have volunteered to help 
with the transition to a simple web format, as did Syr Justus. We do not 
want to add to the burden of the MoLs, we just want to make it easier 
for the full populace to learn the history of their Kingdom as it is 
happening at Crown Tourney.
