[MR] submissions for the Oak 2008 Issue 1

I have received several submissions already for Oak 2008 issue 1 which I hope to put out by the end of April.  If you have works in progress for this issue that you would like to discuss please write me privately.

We will again have a second issue of the Oak this year (YAY!) whose deadline will be the first week in November.
