A layer of morning dew laid across the fields, this cool spring
morning. Thepeaceful grace of a swallow in flight was rudely
interupted by a scream of anguish. A woman runs to the center of
town, covered in blood. "My love", she weeps, "he's dead!!". Murmors
of murder, jeliousy and revenge, are spread across the town square.

The woman goes straight to her uncle, Sir Roland de Mounteney for
help. "Please, find the man that killed my love", she begged. Only
upon consulting his family did Roland realize that his niece's lost
love could not have caused any less trouble. He was none other than
the nephew of Baron Marcellus Capoziello da Napoli. Long have their
families been at each other's arms. Decades of dispute over money,
power, and of course, women.

Here stands two households, each alike in dignity, with the heads at
variancewith each other. These two men flush, with unrest and anger,
stand on the brink of war. Love, Murder, Vengence, and Treachery.
These are the words to describe the events of the day.

Will you be there to support your kin? To bring great honor to your
house? To go to war, when your family calls?

---

These two families clash this April 12th in the town of Smeewick, in
the Barony of Lochmere. For more information and directions, please

I does bring me great pleasure to announce that Her Highness, Princess
Kari, will be in attendence upon this great day. She plans on picking
her rapier champion this day. Bring your best, fight with honor, and
show our Princess why Atlantia is revered upon the rapier field.
