Hidden Mountain Baronial Birthday and Investiture

Hosting Group: Barony of Hidden Mountain Update to existing flyer? No

Description: It has been four years and Rowen and Guillaume have represented our Barony well. Sadly it is time to say goodbye as they move on to newer pursuits. Come join Their Majesties as they Invest our new Baron and Baroness onto the thrones of Hidden Mountain.

Martial Activities: There will be Heavy and Rapier Tournaments throughout the day from which Their Excellencies will be choosing their new Champions.

Arts & Sciences Activities: Items celebrating Hidden Mountain will be the theme for the day. Documentation is highly encouraged. Come show off Hidden Mountain in your best form.

Site: Camp Juniper at Cheraw State Park. 100 State Park Road Cheraw, SC 29624. 
There are 7 cabins available that will comfortably hold 6 people each so get your reservations in early. Tent campers pay daytrip prices.
Site Restrictions: This is a Dry Site, service animals only. 
 
Feast seating is limited to 70 people.

Directions: From NORTHEAST/SOUTHEAST: Take I-95 to exit 164 (Highway 52 north) toward Darlington, turn right at the off-ramp onto 52. The site is 33.6 miles from the exit. 
 
*After traveling 5 miles from the exit, turn left to take the 52 bypass around Darlingtion. In Society Hill (23.7 miles after the exit), 52 bears left again. The site is another 10 miles on your left, use the Boating/Camping entrance. Camp Juniper is the second right on the dirt road. SCA signs will be posted.

>From EAST (Myrtle Beach): Take Highway 501 to Florence, turn Right on Highway 52, proceed from * above.

>From SOUTHWEST (Columbia): Take I-20 east to exit 98 (Camden), then turn right on Highway 1, and proceed toward Cheraw. Two miles before Cheraw, you will come to a set of islands where Hwy 1 intersects with Hwy 52. Turn right - the site is one and one half miles on your right. Pass the
main entrance, and turn right in the second entrance marked Boating/Camping.

>From NORTHWEST (Charlotte): Take Hwy 74 to 601 out of Monroe, then turn left on Hwy 9 at Pageland. Proceed to Cheraw. You will reach an intersection where Hwy 9 turns left. Turn left, then take an immediate right - now you will be on Hwy 52 south toward Florence. 
 
**Two miles from town, you will come to a set of islands - bear left, staying on Hwy 52. The site is one and one half miles on your right (use the second entrance marked camping/boating).

>From the NORTH: Take Hwy 1 to Cheraw - proceed through town, Hwy 1 will turn left, right, then left again. Proceed out of town, bearing left at the islands as noted by ** above.
