No event in the SCA can take place without a
tremendous amount of support, and I would like to take
a moment to offer my sincere thanks to a number of
people who made Caer Mear's Baronial Birthday a very
special day. 

-Aldis, my outstanding Troll
-Master Fritz who organized the Cooks Guild feast and
all of the gentles who worked in the kitchen
throughout the day
-Lady Sorcha and Lady Melania who both worked very
hard throughout the day, but especially helping with
decorating the hall. 
-Lady Lisette and Lady Simona, our Mistresses of the
Lists
-Lord Gorm who organized the heraldic activities
-Sir Bryce who was the Marshal In Charge
-Dame Anne who cooked and set up the hospitality for
the ladies gallery
-Our Tir-y-Donian cousins, particularly Lord Moe,
Mistress Iseulte, and Baroness Oriana (and Chris!) who
worked very hard to help us get the site clean and let
everyone go home 30 minutes early!
-And Their Excellencies, William and Katerina for
giving me this opportunity, for supporting the event,
and for working throughout the day, and staying to
assist with cleanup.  

I am also incredibly grateful for the dozens of people
who pitched in to help throughout the day with things
such as setting up for court and setting up for feast.
 

I also extend my thanks to the about 100 people who
preregistered for this little event.  Any autocrat
knows just how important having preregistrations are
for planning an event, and everyone who preregistered
has my thanks for making the planning of this event
that much easier for me.
