[MR] Cameras at KASF

(I should have responded before KASF, but was rather busy with preparations) :)

At most events, I'm completely in agreement that cameras use should be minimized and photographers be non-intrusive. And between use, cameras should be concealed. We have a little linen bag for our camera, and try to keep it in a chest between uses.

However, events such as KASF are a different case, however. KASF is a show - essentially a "behind-the-scenes" trades fair. We are there to display skills in a very non-period manner, putting out documentation, discussing research sources and techniques, and sharing craft secrets in a way that would certainly outrage medieval Guildmasters. It's about education and sharing, and as such, I openly welcomed and encouraged people taking pictures of what's in my display as a way to share what I've been doing.

I am ok with photography and video of events, especially if the
photographer/videographer asks permission if it is something close-up and in
great detail. I would very much prefer for folks to take more care to
disguise their cameras' blatant modern appearance. I thought that it was
Kingdom Law to hide everything modern.
