Greetings:
We have always encouraged our children to participate in A&S; even when there are no posted entry levels or category for children at an event.  If an under 16 has taken the time to study, and produce something they feel they want to share--then we merely make a space and category for them at the event.  As a children's corner person I always carry "extra" tokens that can be used for a "prize" of encouragement.  It is a simple addition that can be easily made at any event, and it means the world to our young ones.  And don't forget to mention them and their work at court.  Call them up, praise them publicly.  All works are to the betterment of our Society and our children are to be loved and encouraged. (As well as our adults.)  Glee of the Abbey
