Good afternoon!
The current event bid process loosely goes like this:
A group turns in a bid to the Kingdom Event Bid Deputy.
The bid deputy sends it to, most often: The Kingdom Seneschal, The Kingdom
Exchequer, Their Majesties, and Their Highnesses. Other officers may be
involved for events that directly effect them.
We look at budget, parking, space considerations, location, wet vs. dry
sites, sleeping areas, kitchen facilities, type of location, etc. and
discuss the pros and cons of the bid.
We may ask a group for changes to their bid based on the input we recieve or
an issue we see in the bid. Sometimes we may ask if we can change the bid
over to another event, depending on what we see as the pros and cons of the
site.
The Kingdom Seneschal makes the final decision on most Kingdom events. The
Crowns make the decision on Crown and Coronation, and the Chancellor makes
the decision on Univeristy.
So, it is a very loosely defined process at the moment.
Thank you!
