[MR] bizarre text srings...test

This is a test.  Trying to figure out why I am getting added character strings in the middle of my my e-mails.  I guess they look like code for something, perhaps some sort of text break, but don't know why they are suddenly sprouting everywhere for me.  I apologise. (but if anyone does know why this is happenning and how I can stop it from happenning, I am all ears)
