version I once heard was (not a direct quote) that folks should try to
get their work published so they would be recognized more readily for
their work. No "required", no absolutes at all - just a recommendation
of one more way to show what you do.
Thus, if you want to know the basic, bar bones requirements - go look
up the Order and what is written about it from the Society or it's
Kingdom of origin.
