well i see that everyone totaly missed my point. i have been involved with
atlantia since it was a princapality of the east. and was a professional armourer in the sca for 5 years. i have taught many people many things
and they have learned peerage or no. the point is that the first peers made themselves peers and each succesive generation of peers has raised the bar on the next. soon you will have to be born one. i have often said the only thing the sca has ever succesfully recreated is the arrogance of the peerage.
this is not to say all peers behave this way.it used to be that the sca recognized your talent say at fighting or crafting or even just being really helpful by awarding a peerage.it was meant to be an acknowledgment and not an entitlement.the point is to have fun and maybe even learn something because
an sca peerage and 6 bucks will get you coffe at starbucks
