>>I would love to hear from some who have an SCA web page. Do you feel it has reached your intended audience?

Katharine and I run a site on historical interpretation: http://www.historiclife.com/. It is not SCA specific as we participate in several groups including the SCA but we do post SCA A&S entries on the site.

>>Do you feel it has reached your intended audience?

It does get some attention from SCA members but it gets more attention from reenactors in many parts of the world. Russians, Germans, and Australians hit our site the most for museum photos I have taken and my document of Hastings and the clothing I wore to the reenactment gets much attention. I feel as long as anyone is looking and gaining some new information or ideas then I have reached my intended audience.

>>Has it been a labor of love or frustration? (ie. How do you handle copyright issues?)

As a web designer it has mostly been a labor of love though I have 4000 museum images I have yet to post still. As a web designer in real life I know what I can and cannot post so I do not sweat that issue much.

>>All in all, why did you do it?

I loved sites like Marc Carlson's sites on shoes and clothing which give good historical facts and I wanted to start a site like that to spread the word on information that is out there. Also with some of the galleries it gives me a place to go and look at information any time I feel like it, at home, at the office, or on the road.
