Greetings all,
My lord and I have come to the decision to sell our pavilion. The reason for this is we have decided to get a larger pavilion so we can have room for guests (like household members who need some crash space) and for his heavy weapons stuff.
This pavilion will be used at Pennsic War 37. It will be in the camp of the Barony of the Sacred Stone, and will be taken down and, if a buyer is found, turned over on the second Wednesday, August 6th, as my lord and I must leave that day, or can be picked up in Hampton, Virginia after Pennsic (I can even deliver within the Hampton Roads area for no extra charge, or further if you're willing to pay for gas). It will be available for viewing and we can even take it down and put it back up for anyone seriously interested in purchasing it (set-up and take-down only take about a half hour to an hour each).
Please feel free to forward this to any list you see fit. E-mail me if you are interested (avani_pari2 AT yahoo DOT com)
So, the information:
Type: Double-Bell Wedge (15th century, possibly as early as 14th century)
Brand: Panther Primitives
Size: 10x15x8ft, with attached dayshade that can extend to 6 feet, or be put at 'half-mast' at 3 feet for when there is very limited space
Price: $500
Extra information:
Colour: White, no dags (this means you can paint it with any colours or heraldry that you want!)
Poles and ropes: There are three poles on the main frame, two vertical and one horizontal (ridge pole). There are NO ropes on the main frame. There are two poles on the dayshade, both 6ft. Each of these poles has two support ropes. These are the only ropes on the entire tent.
Stakes: I have cast-iron stakes for the tent; I am missing one and will replace it at Pennsic with another from Panther Primitives.
Bags: There is a canvas bag for the main canvas, and a smaller canvas bag for stakes and ropes.
Age: Pennsic War 37 will be this pavilion's second Pennsic (though it has missed a few in there). It has also been to approximately 15 other events. It does not leak, and is in good condition.
