[MR] [HF] Knit in Public Day at Highland River Melees

FYI, I was already planning on bringing my knitting. I will be at Troll most of the day, but will have my knitting handy if it gets slow. (Ha, ha) And I'll probably be around afterwards with my knitting. The Western Maryland Ravelry group will be in Frederick Baker park on Sat. I told them that they should cancel the plans for Frederick and move to Hagerstown City Park instead. LOL

This Saturday, June 14, is World Wide Knit in Public Day (http://www.wwkipday.com/). Knitters all over the world will be gathering to, well, knit. :-) 

A few of Atlantia's knitters have decided to get together at Highland River Melees (http://highland-foorde.atlantia.sca.org/hrmelees.shtml) to celebrate the spirit of the day. Anyone who knits--or who is curious about knitting--is welcome to join us! Lady Gerita has graciously offered to "host" us at the Chirurgeon's tent. This is a very informal thing--no time, no agenda, just an opportunity to sit together, knit and chat. 

Feel free to bring your knitting and join us there!
