Speaking as an equestrian participant, I don't find that title-based
geographical distinctions matter.  For example, we had more horses at Fool's
War (in Georgia) from Atlantia than from the host kingdom itself!  Every
Atlantian Cavalry participant I know has expressed an attendance
decision-making process which depends on hours driven.  Whether that crosses
an SCA-based border doesn't really matter.
This is my view only as a participant in a less-populated activity.  My view
for heavy fighting, for example, differs.
