Actually, I wouldn't.
That's why I didn't, and haven't yet.
It's hard to keep things clean at Pennsic. It's hard to keep things properly refriderated. You have no control over the weather. I've been there for horrendous storms, flooding, and one year, and tire fire across the creek that actually prompted a partial evacuation of Court of Miracles (the Swamp gypsy camp where I live). These things were scary enough when I just had to worry about my own hide, I can't imagine having to deal with them with a baby in tow. You are weathering all this stuff in a house made of fabric.
It gets dangerously hot during the day. It may get dangerously cold at night. The Drunken Mariners told me a hair raising story about a friend of theirs who brought a baby to Pennsic who ended up spending part of their vacation in the hospital due to their baby almost dying of heat stroke. Gaaaah. If I had to camp in one of the sunny camps, like on the 'Ghetti, I wouldn't even consider it.
A baby that young will not be getting anything out of it. And due to the constraints of having to care for an infant, how much will you be getting out of it yourself? It's a full time job, taking care of an infant. Having to do that job in a primitive camping enviroment does not sound like a good time to me. Not only that, but your child is too young to tell you if she's too hot or too cold or doesn't feel good.
I realize people all over the world raise their babies in worse conditions than Pennsic. However, as for me, I dont' have to and therefore am not the least interested in experiencing that firsthand.
Pennsic will be there for you in the future. :-)
