I know that feeling. I had the pleasure of being one of the first 
outsiders in both Aarnimetsa (Finland) and Lough Devanree (Ireland, 
which went through some name issues). I took the train and ferries to 
Aarnimetsa. In February. Perhaps not my best planned expedition. In both 
places I had special dispensations to do single-marshal authorizations. 
It was a real shock to be at Drachenwald 10-Year and see my picture on 
the cover of some of the Aarnimetsa Fighting History DVDs. The flight to 
Lough Devanree was uneventful except for discovering on the morning of 
the flight that Ireland was not a NATO country. Both experiences were 
marvelous.
