[MR] Driving Distances

Salvete!
I too have been watching the discussion on driving distances with
interest as I do still live in a kingdom where driving distances and cost of
fuel (but not the amount of income) exceed those of Atlantia by at least a
factor of three (gas now costs 9 dollars per gallon here, and the "local"
events we attend usually involve a 300 mile drive...).
Rotating the regions really does seem to work quite nicely here, giving
everyone a chance to work, have fun and share in the glory of hosting a
kingdom level event while also preventing any regionalized resentments from
arising.
