It looks as if the geographic center of Atlantia
is Windmaster Hill. Do the good gentles there
want to host ALL major kingdom events? If they
do, that would be equally inconvenient (and expensive) for almost everyone.
The present system means that there are SOME
major events in all parts of the kingdom, so
nearly everyone can attend some major events from
time to time without mortgaging the
house, wearing out the car, or causing the oil
companies to declare a special dividend.
